Regarding the number of credits in the market increasing, it's a ratio question more than anything else. Number of credits in play to number of users.
If this climbs too high we have a number of mechanisms for modifying the input and output (in order of extremity):
* Adding additional sink items in the shop (like the Featured item)
* Modifying the shop and spot tax rates
* Modifying the pricing algorithm
* Modifying drop value/drop limits
* Buying or selling credits onto/off the market
Things in the first three levels happen a fair bit, we've changed the tax rate one before, and there's a pricing algorithm revamp coming up...it's not inspired by trying to modify the ec value but we keep that in mind when making changes.
We've also changed the drop limit once before.
