We tried that originally, the Entrecard beta had a system allowing you to chose the day. It really didn't work, added a lot of complexity for a relatively rare requirement - the UI elements necessary to select the day are a pain to fit in the right places etc.

We have an alternative solution in the road map but it's not likely to be in any time soon, got a lot of other stuff on our plate.
